Dia de los muertos

This bread is prepared in Mexico for the Day of the Dead celebration.

This round bread, decorated with “bones” of dough, has as its main ingredients wheat flour, sugar, eggs, and is generally decorated with sesame seeds or covered with sugar, as a special touch scented with orange and anise.

Currently, bread of the dead is one of the most important components of the offerings dedicated to the Faithful Dead.
